Cannabis Employment and Industry Information Sessions:
Dear Leq’á:mel Members,
The Leq’á:mel Development Corporation and Leq’á:mel Cannabis Company are excited to be gearing up for the 2026 operating season at the new Leq’á:mel Cannabis Company facility and will be hosting an official celebration with Chief and Council for the community in the spring of 2026! Details of this event will be advertised in the coming weeks!
The Leq’á:mel Cannabis Company has received Health Canada approval and licence to begin operations at part of the facility and we expect the second approval for full facility in the next few weeks.
In the spring, we will be advertising and hosting a series of informal information sessions for Leq’á:mel members who may be interested in learning more about the licenced cannabis industry as well as Health Canada’s role with us at the facility. Sessions will also provide information about employment opportunities and roles that will be available to Leq’á:mel Members at the facility located on Leq’á:mel lands.
