Leq'á:mel Cannabis Company Ltd.

The Leq’á:mel Propagation / Greenhouse is in the building stage with oversight by the Leq’á:mel Lands Department. The 7000 ft.² greenhouse facility will be owned and managed by the Leq’á:mel Development Corporation.

In February 2021 the Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development announced the LDC Propagation Centre application was successful for the Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Program (CERIP) which was announced to assist communities with recovering from the impacts of COVID-19. The intent was to create small infrastructure projects that support communities and employment.  

The concept is for the development of a mid-sized Micro Propagation Park consisting of several individual 6000 ft.² Micro Grow Propagation buildings licensed by Health Canada.

There will also be licensed Outdoor grow areas.
